As per my previous thread, I still have a few questions regarding my speed.

Basically I had poor performance. No Cabinets coming to my area etc, but in the red zone.

I still have VERY slow HTTP speeds - such as downloading large files - Linux .iso's etc, rarely goes over 50k/sec, torrents I'm getting a decent (for my place) 250k/sec+/- still.

Any reason why downloading through broswers is slower?
Can anyone shed anymore light on these cabinets that we get told to look up our address for info on?

I logged a call last friday as our DSL was disconnecting literally every 5 minutes, did the isolation tests again, gave up talking to someone I could barely understand so I rang back later, after telling them the exact times my DSL cut off they passed the fault on to I'm guessing the Telco company? Received a text from them today saying everything is fine and the fault has been closed.

Advice? Maybe I should enquire about upgrading the small amount of wiring into the house.
